Our Commitment: DEI, CSR & Sustainability

Our commitment: fairness, access and responsibility

We’re a small, modern firm, and we’d rather tell you honestly what we do than publish a list of promises we can’t stand behind. Our approach to diversity, responsibility and sustainability grows out of the same values that shape our client work: fairness, transparency and going beyond the bare minimum.

A fair and inclusive place to work

We’re remote-first by design, which lets us build a team on talent rather than postcode, and support flexible and part-time working as standard.

We judge ideas and contributions on their merit, never on tenure or hierarchy, and we’ve built a written, transparent performance framework so that recognition and pay rest on clear, shared criteria rather than who happens to be most visible. Everyone at the firm is covered by it, including our managing director.

Our values

Where we're going next

We know a commitment means more when it's backed by action, and we're building on these foundations as the firm grows. We'd always rather under-claim and deliver than publish a glossy pledge we haven't earned.

Responsible, transparent business

Transparency is an ethical position for us, not just a sales point. Published pricing, a payment model clients can plan around, and plain-English advice are all part of treating people fairly. We're regulated by IPReg, and we hold ourselves to high professional standards across everything we do.

A lighter footprint

As a remote-first firm we operate without a large office estate and the daily commuting that comes with it, which keeps our environmental footprint modest. As we grow, we want to keep making deliberate, sensible choices about our impact rather than treating sustainability as an afterthought.

Widening access to IP advice

Good IP advice has a reputation for being expensive and hard to reach — which leaves many founders unprotected at exactly the point they're most vulnerable. We push against that in two concrete ways: we publish our fixed fees so there are no barriers or surprises, and we run free 45-minute IP clinics for people new to IP, so anyone can get a clear, jargon-free steer on what they have and how to protect it, whether or not they go on to instruct us.
