Chartered Trade Mark Attorney

Kate McCormick
Chartered Trade Mark Attorney
Kate is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and specialises in all aspects of trade mark protection, including registration and prosecution of national and international trade mark applications, clearance searches, portfolio management, intellectual property agreements and contentious trade mark matters.
Prior to joining Panoramix, Kate initially qualified and worked as a solicitor, specialising in corporate and commercial matters with a leading Essex law firm. She then took the decision to specialise in IP, qualifying as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and gaining several years of experience in a variety of contentions and non-contentious trade mark matters at a London-based trade marks firm.
Kate’s previous experience allows her to approach trade mark and IP matters with a commercial and client-centred approach, going beyond legal technicalities, by considering the client’s overall business goals and objectives and offering practical and cost-effective solutions tailored to each client’s particular business needs.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys art and music, playing violin with a local orchestra and niche ‘medieval folk’ group, as well as travelling and exploring new countries whenever the opportunity arises.
